His legs pushed him across the cell. His jaw and mouth fluttered.

“I am your captain. Do you not know me? I know me. I am your captain. Do you know me now? I am your captain. I have come for you. I will shake this earth as you pull close to me." 

He thought there was an explanation. Somewhere this man was a child. That is it. A child trapped fighting for a mother’s hand.
