I was bit by a novel thought

go ahead anyway, I’ll try
to write another poem
without mentioning my nose
or how everything has a nametag on it
that’s so sincere

it’s a new day direction the same one as yesterday don’t we get it by now the right way to cross in front of buses and not get hit and not sweat each other out never never never such a stupid word worse than always but yet although I use it more than the other that’s a nice drink we’ve poured over each other do you taste like sugar and rye and grain or is that only my tongue
